After attending the Ph.D. graduation ceremony on 2013, I have never gone back to Pittsburgh. It has always been a dream to visit Pittsburgh again.
My trip starts with School of Information, University of Pittsburgh. My wife went to school at School of Information. It’s great to present and discuss with Dr. Hassan Karimi ‘s research group on what pcDuino can do in the research work.
My next stop is TechShop Pittsburgh. They got tons of laser cutter, 3D printer, CNC, machine shop, coat paint, wood shop and of course, electronics.
I already visited Hack Pittsburgh, and made a informal talk about pcDuino there. Thanks Chad for the arrangement!
The second day was spent on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. Meet with Suan, Prof. Kumar, who is my Ph.D. advisor, and Aaron from build18.com. The day ends with a tech talk.
